Soil Testing: Techniques & Understanding Results

April 28 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Event Description

Healthy soils support health crops and healthy crops support healthy people. Knowing what a healthy soil looks like can be a challenge and understanding how to address contaminated soils can be confusing.

This workshop will cover what soil is, how to test your soil, and how to amend it to improve the productivity of your crops. We will discuss practical strategies for working with urban soils and mitigating the risk of contamination. There will be plenty of time to discuss individual soil tests and resources available to help improve your soils while staying safe this season.
