Grazing Education and Mentorship for Pennsylvania

Hi Friends!

Today we have a compilation of interviews that Cheryl and I did as roving reporters during the 2020 PASA Conference held at the Lancaster County Convention Center. There were a record number of attendees this year (over 2000!). In this episode we talk with Andy and Loni of Terra Field Farm- a fresh cut flower farm in York County. They just finished fencing a former crop field and are excited to bring some animals in to start grazing.

We also talk with Elizabeth Boone. She works on Verdant View Farm . This is her first year doing pastured poultry on her own for family and friends. She discusses her experiences and what brought her to the PASA Conference as well as what she loves about farming.

Last but certainly not least we have Glen Cauffman of Pure American Naturals. He speaks about his advocacy of rotational grazing, his Angora Goat operation, as well as treating your product as value added vs. commodities.

This podcast is brought to you by the PAGLC, Capital RC&D, Mountain to Bay Grazing Alliance, The Chesapeake Bay Foundation as well as the National Fish and Wildlife Federation and its funders.
